Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange have completed work to launch a combined web platform for companies to file their information and announcements.

In the common filing system, a company is required to file only once irrespective of whether it is listed on BSE or NSE. In this portal, information mandatorily required under the terms of the listing agreement for companies listed in BSE and NSE, will be available at one place.

Once operationalised, investors will be able to access at the website the latest filings by any company irrespective of the exchange in which its shares are listed.

Securities and Excahnge Board of India will mandate electronic filing by listed companies in a phased manner. The common filing and dissemination portal shall come in to place by April 1, 2007, it added.
