BSE institute to conduct financial markets training

Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange Training Institute is launching a programme designed to equip market professionals with a overview of the international financial markets.

The three-week training course, scheduled for January 6-25, will be conducted in leading international and emerging market financial centres in the Asia Pacific region.

Training in Mumbai and six other international centres (Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok) will be conducted through presentations on markets in respective countries from professionals and also interaction with officials from a wide range of institutions that include banks, monetary authorities, stock exchanges, securities regulators and capital market institutions and professionals.

According to an official of the BSE Training Institute, with its comprehensive framework of financial architecture that consists of a wide range of financial institutions and instruments, India is becoming a leading player in the emerging market finance and the course is intended to further expand the reach and competitiveness on business development and performance.

The course will cover among others financial markets including equity, money, bond, debt, foreign exchange, derivatives as also banking and insurance.
