E-commerce giants in India have come out with bumper deals and discounts for online shoppers this festive season across products range from mobile phones, electronic items, home and kitchen appliances, apparels etc.

These players have been investing significantly to ramp up delivery and logistics capabilities to meet the surge in demand during the festive season.

Online retailers Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal will kick off their big discount deals in the next two days offering an opportunity to Indian consumers a great time to choose from a plethora of gadgets.

While Flipkart's Big Billion Days Sale 2016 and Snapdeal's Unbox Diwali Sale will open on 2 October and remain open till 6 October, Amazon's Great Indian Sale will open a day early, on 1 October and close on 5 October.

The three online retailers will be showering discounts on consumers, offering the best time to buy any new gadget. However, while the sale offers a plethora of new gadgets,  the problem is finding the right ones.

Half the items that will be sold online will be those most consumers are not much interested in but the combo offers would make them attractive for many.

Yet, there will be interesting offers across a range of products, including new TVs, phones, and other high value items. The sales cover a wide range of products though, and this makes finding the things you want difficult.

But, since the sales are happening simultaneously, customers get to check what and how the e-commerce sites pack their discounts and reduce risks to some extent.
