Australian online price comparison site exits News Limited

Online price comparison website Getprice has been acquired by its management team from News Limited.
Over 2.5 million products from over 1,300 retailers feature on the website.
Chief executive Chris Hitchen along with the senior management team, including chief operating officer and company co-founder Jared Oken, would continue to lead the business as an independent operation.
The company has not given financial details of the acquisition.
According to Hitchen, he was delighted News Limited had accepted management's offer.
