Online travel company MakeMyTrip.com has launched offisialatyachaar.com, an online campaign to promote its weekend travel packages. The campaign is targeted towards modern-day professionals who have the resources but not much time for personal outings.

MakeMyTrip has also created a fan page of the campaign on Facebook.

Euro RSCG has conceptualised the campaign.  It also has an audio clip of two minutes 30 seconds duration, aimed at the internet and developed by a Delhi-based web studio called DigiVaasi.

The ad has a humorous Hindi song, which talks about work pressures corporate professionals are subjected too. The ad subtly provokes users to take short holiday breaks to unwind or de-stress themselves.

The audio clip, available at Offisialatyachaar.com, forms a part of the core of the viral marketing campaign of online travel agency.

Almost 70 per cent of the domestic holiday packages sold on Makemytrip.com are weekend getaways.
