EdServ to offer IIT-JEE test preparation on Tata DoCoMo platform

Chennai-based education support services company EdServ Softsystems Ltd has tied up with Tata DoCoMo to offer its IIT-JEE and AIEEE test preparation content through the latter's educational platform - Tutor on Mobile.
The platform is available to all Tata DoCoMo subscribers pan India, according to a statement filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The entire AIEEE and IIT-JEE package is being offered at an attractive price, with each video costing the AIEEE/IIT-JEE aspirant between Rs5 and Rs10.
With the initiative, the company's educational content, available online on its flagship product Lampsglow.com, would also be available through videos, text, images, live interactions and pod casts on the mobile smart phone, the company said.
According to S Giridharan, chief executive officer and chairman, with increasing adoption of mobile smart phones in the country, the company believes moving its educational content on the mobile would help students learn on the move, making it truly anytime anywhere learning.
Tutor on Mobile can be subscribed to by sending an SMS with the keyword 'TOM' to 5333300. The service would be charged at Rs30 per month.
