MTS launches lowest-priced Android smartphones in India

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd (SSTL), which provides telecom services under the MTS brand, has launched the lowest-priced Android smartphones in the country. The Android-based phones - MTS MTAG 3.1 and MTS Livewire – are priced below Rs5,000.
Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd (SSTL), which provides telecom services under the MTS brand, has launched two smartphones priced below Rs5,000. The Android-based phones - MTS MTAG 3.1 and MTS Livewire – are slated to be lowest-priced smartphones in the country.
The handsets incorporate Qualcomm's Snapdragon S1 processors that adapt to real-time demands, ensuring extended battery life, while the handsets support high quality voice and net enabled data services, MTS said in a statement.
The handsets were launched at IndiaOn, an event held by Qualcomm in New Delhi.
