Dolphin Offshore denies report on JV with L&T for shipyard

Mumbai: Dolphin Offshore has issued a statement to the BSE denying reports that appeared in a section of the media, titled "Dolphin Offshore in talks with L&T for shipyard JV".
In its clarification to the stock exchange, Dolphin Offshore Enterprises India Ltd has said that there is “no truth to the news of the Company being in talks with L&T to form a Joint Venture for shipyard(s)”.
Dolphin Offshore has an existing business relationship as a consortium partner with L&T on certain offshore projects, and in the capacity of a sub-contractor on some others, but denies having plans for a JV with L&T, as reported by a section of the media previously.
