New luxury paint for Indian market

In keeping with the boom in the luxury high end real estate segment, Jotun India Pvt Ltd, Indian  subsidiary of Norwegian paint manufacturer has introduced Fenomastic Gold in the luxury paint segment specially designed for application on internal surfaces.

Fenomastic Gold contains special anti - fungus additives in wet film which help resist fungal and bacterial growth on interior walls. The product is also flame spread certified. The paint will be available at all Jotun multicolour retail outlets across Southern and Western India. It is available in brilliant white and over 16,000 colours from Jotun's Multicolor Tinting System.

''Fenomastic Gold is targeted at high end consumers for decorative application, said Percy Jijina, general manager, decorative, Jotun India Pvt Ltd,  "India is a huge market for us and we will soon be introducing more products in various categories across the country. ''

Jotun's product range includes decorative, protective, powder, marine, floor / concrete protection and intumescent coatings.

Jotun Paints founded in 1926 in Norway, is one of the world's leading paint manufacturers. The group consists of 67 companies and 40 production facilities around the world and is looking at strengthening its presence in India. Outside Europe Jotun has a very strong hold in Middle-East and Asia Pacific.

Jotun India Pvt. Ltd. set a shop in India in the year 2005, with an intention of providing a single source solution for all paints and coatings. Jotun's manufacturing plant in Pune has been set up at an investment of $25 million and the company has opened more than 100 exclusive retail outlets in various southern and western Indian markets.
