Hilton launches global marketing initiative

As retail stores wrap up their holiday sales, Hilton Worldwide announced a global multi-brand wide January sale, for those who book hotel rooms in January to avail a 50 per cent off at weekend getaways throughout the year at participating hotels in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

Hilton says guests can save up to 33 per cent off weekend rates in North America, South America, Central America, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean at participating Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites brands.

To take advantage of the January Sale, travellers can visit the Hilton website to pre-purchase bokkings till 31 January 2010 and receive the discounted rate for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night stays throughout 2010. Select hotels may offer Thursday night discounts as well. All reservations must be booked at least three days in advance.

"Hilton Worldwide's portfolio of brands is giving a reason for families and friends to reserve all their weekend getaways for the year by January," said Jeff Diskin, Senior Vice President, Customer Marketing, Hilton Worldwide. "By offering this great way to save on travel, we are encouraging members to take advantage of the weekends as often as possible to visit family and friends, and explore the world's treasures."

Guests that are also Hilton HHonors members will earn their standard points and miles for all stays. Free nights can be redeemed with No Blackout Dates and no capacity controls at Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton and Hilton Grand Vacations.

Travellers are required to make non-refundable full payment at the time of booking.
