Hostess Brands recalls 710,000 cases of select snacks and donuts

Hostess Brands, LLC has recalled 710,000 cases of select snacks and donuts after the company's supplier for flour, Grain Craft, recalled its flour over undeclared peanut residue.

According to Hostess Brands, a number of its Zingers, Donuts, Ding Dongs and Chocodile snacks were involved in the recall. The

Company went on to add that people who were allergic to peanuts should not eat the affected products.

People who had purchased an affected product could return the box to the place of purchase for a full refund.

The products included single-serve snack cakes and donuts, multi-pack boxes and bagged donuts.

The products were sold at grocery stores, distributors, dollar stores, drug stores, and convenience stores throughout the US and Mexico.

The company said it would give a full refund to customers who returned the products to the place of purchase.
