Yash Birla Group wellness store Rebirth introduces Nutrinext range of sugar-free products

Mumbai: Rebirth, the branded wellness stores of the Yash Birla Group (YBG) has announced plans to introduce sugarless health and food products under the Nutrinext brand targetted at diabtics.

The company said its sugarless cookies, chocolates, muffins and nutri bars using maltitol / sucralose as a sugar substitute offered healthy eating option without compromising on the taste.

The range includes cookies in strawberry or kiwi lemon, ginger and cinnamon, fig and biscotti flavours and hazelnut, raisin and dark chocolates.

"This will not only help Individuals to control on their sugar intake but also control obesity," it said in a press release.

The release quoted N. Venkat, CEO and MD, Birla Wellness, as saying, ''With Indians having a very high propensity to turn diabetic and the fact that every fourth diabetic in the world is an Indian, propelled us to come up with an eating option that  is tasty and would help prevent diabetes. Since the products are sugarless, they can also be enjoyed by people who are already diabetic and need to control the urge.''
