Chennai: The Syndicate Bank Officers Organisation (SBOO) has reiterated its demand for a fair and just promotion policy, a long-term transfer policy, reimbursement of various expenses, etc, among others.

At its 10th all-India conference organised at Coimbatote, SBOO urged the management to introduce a well-researched and time-bound promotion policy, based on seniority and merit.

SBOO general secretary M S Bhagwat said the current transfer policy is inconsistent and "not even time-bound." The organisation has demanded the formulation of a long-term transfer policy acceptable to the entire officers community.
