Standard Chartered reshuffles top brass

Mumbai: Standard Chartered Bank yesterday announced the movement of its top management to global positions. The bank's regional head, consumer banking, Vishu Ramachandran, has now been moved to the position of chief financial officer, group consumer banking, a press release here said.

Murali M. Natarajan will succeed Ramachandran as head-consumer banking, India & Nepal, and he will oversee five consumer banking value centres, which are — secured loans, unsecured loans, wealth management, branch banking and Standard Chartered Finance.

Murali joined the bank in October 2002 as general manager for mortgage and auto business for South-East Asia.

Shyam Srinivasan has been assigned the portfolio of head, consumer banking, Malaysia.
