Mumbai: In view of the holidays coinciding with the closure of accounts for the current financial year, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has told banks to make necessary arrangements to enable assesses to pay their taxes.

The RBI has advised banks to make arrangements at their select branches, which are designated to accept taxes, by extending the banking hours on 30 March and to also keep their counters open on 31 March to allow assesses to pay taxes.
