IBM e-government centre in Gurgaon

Gurgaon: IBM India has announced the creation of an ‘e-government centre’ in Gurgaon to offer technology, support and infrastructure to governments and service providers to design and develop prototypes of e-government applications.

The center is a part of IBM India’s e-business software center. According to, Frank Luksic, country executive (Software Group and Developer Relations), IBM India, the center will also be equipped to handle subsequent development, implementation, training and support for the applications.

Luksic says that the IBM technology framework is aimed at enabling government to enhance, access and usability of services to citizens and businesses across languages.
