Yahoo has initiated access denial to users for certain services with Facebook or Google logins. All services would now need a Yahoo ID for singing in.

The first service to block Facebook and Google  login credentials was Yahoo Sports Tourney Pick'Em up; but services like Flickr and Fantasy Sports would also now require a Yahoo ID.

Reuters reported a Yahoo spokesperson who spoke to CNET as saying, Yahoo was continually working on improving the user experience, which included its sign-in process for Yahoo Sports Tourney Pick'Em.

She added the new process which now asked users to sign in with a Yahoo username, would allow the company to offer the best personalised experience to everyone.
