OnePlus has added another e-commerce website for the sale of its first phone by making it available on Snapdeal in addition to its rival Amazon.

The 64GB variant of the OnePlus One would be priced at Rs 21,998 on both ecommerce sites.

OnePlus's India general manager Vikas Agarwal, said the company was excited to partner with Snapdeal to further expand the reach as also the availability of the phone.

Agarwal said the company had sold over 250,000 units since launch, and was confident the move would help it deliver the most loved smartphone of the year to more customers across the country.

The OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch LTPS (Sharp's Low Temperature PolySilicon) IPS display having a resolution of 1080×1920 pixel.

The device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and one could either have the Cyanogen OS 12 or OnePlus' proprietary OxygenOS on it. The One was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and featured a 13MP camera along with a 3100 mAh battery.

Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus recently apologised on the OnePlus forums for the delay in the roll out of OnePlus 2 and the scarcity of invites.

Pei said in his forum post, ''To our fans, sorry. We were equally excited when we saw your excitement around the OnePlus 2. We know how it feels waiting and waiting for something you really want, while being given ETAs that go unfulfilled. We appreciate the trust and support that you have given to a relatively small and unknown company like OnePlus.''

According to commentators, though its successor might be out in the market already, OnePlus One was still going strong in India thanks to its advanced hardware and software package as also its affordability.

The product, which had been launched in 2014 to encouraging response worldwide, was earlier available on Amazon only.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The handset comes with a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 5MP front facing camera and features a 3100mAh battery.
