Skoda to offer free PUC checks

Delhi: ŠkodaAuto India today said it would offer a two-day long 'free pollution check up' campaign to mark World Environment Day, aimed at spreading awareness about environment.
The free checks will be provided on 5 and 6 June at all Skoda dealerships across India.
Speaking about the initiative, Thomas Kuehl, Member of the Board, Sales and Marketing, SkodaAuto India said ''SkodaAuto's environment-friendly approach to development and production of new vehicles and after sales services are an integral part company's business strategy. The 'Free Pollution Check Up' campaign is in sync with our commitment towards caring for the environment.''
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ashutosh Dixit, senior general manager, sales and marketing, SkodaAuto India, said, ''At SkodaAuto, it is our endeavour to enhance public awareness towards key environmental issues. The 'Free Pollution Check Up' campaign is our way of contributing towards this commitment. All Skoda vehicles are in compliance with the strictest environment-friendly criteria.''
The 'Free Pollution Check Up' will incorporate emission checking equipment and devices to clean the engine.
