Mustang finds space on Shoppers Stop shelves

Leading European brand of jeans and lifestyle wear, Mustang, has entered into an exclusive tie-up with the country's leading fashion retail chain Shoppers Stop. Under the exclusive retail arrangement, Mustang will operate shop-in-shops within the Shoppers Stop stores across the country.

In the first phase, five Mustang shop-in-shops are planned to start operations by the end of this financial year. The first shop-in-shop has already started operations at Shoppers Stop's newly opened store at Inorbit Mall in Cyberabad. The other locations will be at Shoppers Stop stores in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Founded in 1932, Mustang was the first denim brand to be manufactured in Europe. With revenues of over 100 million Euros, Mustang has become one of Europe's leading jeans-wear and lifestyle brands. The company's milestones include the first women's jeans and the first corduroys in Europe, and the first stretch jeans in the world.

Under the retail arrangement Mustang merchandise will be imported from the parent company to be retailed in India. Mustang garments production takes place in many parts of the world, mainly in Asia Pacific and North Africa.

New range of trendy styles will be introduced every 4 – 6 weeks as it is internationally done. Known for its precise fits and washes, Mustang offers options as ensemble and not as individual garments. While the Men's men's shirts and t-shirts start at Rs. 599, the bottom wear range starts at Rs. 1599. Similarly, women's tops and tees are priced Rs599 onwards and women's bottom wear also starts from RS. 1599. Each shop-in-shop of Mustang within Shoppers Stop has a floor space of between 35 and 45 square meters.
