Reliance Retail ties up with PepsiCo for T20 World Cup promotion news

Reliance Value Formats, which includes Reliance Fresh, Reliance Mart and Reliance Super stores under it, has introduced the PepsiCo India Holdings 'T20 Snack Cup Mania' promotion across its stores in the country, under which 10 winners stand to win an all-expense paid trip to London to watch the T20 World Cup matches.

This contest is open from 10 April to 20 May, 2009, at all Reliance Fresh, Reliance Mart and Reliance Super stores across Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Kolkata.

Announcing the 'T20 Snack Cup Mania' promotion, Raghu Pillai, President and CEO, operations and strategy, Reliance Retail, said, ''Cricket is religion in India and we all look at opportunities to watch our cricket heroes live in action on the field. This promotion for Reliance customers offers them an opportunity to win a chance to enjoy a cricket match live in London. This is yet another endeavour from Reliance Retail to make shopping at Reliance stores enjoyable and at the same time offering immense value to our customers.''

As part of the contest, every purchase of Rs50 worth of Lays packs, entitles buyers to a lucky draw coupon. Reliance says 10 winners will get an all expense paid trip to London, including return airfare from Delhi, a one-night stay in London and tickets to a T20 World Cup match.

Besides, 45 customers in each city will get an exclusive screening of the T20 World Cup match at PVR cinemas. All other customers get free ring tones. All purchases come with a scratch card carrying ''Watch match in PVR & T20 world cup ticket'' and ''Win a World Cup ticket.''

Reliance Retail, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries opened its first retail store in November 2006 and currently operates over 900 stores in 77 cities, spanning 14 states with over 4.2 million sq ft of trading space.
