Rediffusion DYR has unveiled its new identity. Designed in-house, the new identity takes a fresher hue of the now familiar aquamarine colour associated with the agency. It also incorporates a younger, more contemporary font. A dash of orange, literally, completes the identity. However, the most significant, clearly, is the change of name from Rediffusion DYR to Rediffusion-Y&R.
''We started an association with Young & Rubicam over 20 years ago that developed into a robust partnership, said Diwan Arun Nanda, chairman Rediffusion-Y&R. "The new identity is a symbol of that affiliation. It is a relationship that we cherish and are proud of. These are exciting times for us as we have had a very successful period on every front. The new identity captures our evolution over the recent times.''
Mahesh Chauhan, group CEO, Rediffusion-Y&R said, ''There has been a transformation of sorts that we have witnessed. We wanted to capture the flair, energy and youth that now pervade the organization. And hence, felt the need to refresh our identity to mirror this change.''
