Nokia India launches new Nokia concept store

Nokia India has launched its new Nokia concept store format in India. Located at Ambience Mall in up market Gurgaon, the new Nokia store is spread across 2,000 sq.ft with a designated area for each service.
Dedicated sections for music, games, email and maps provide customers with an opportunity to try Nokia's devices and services like music, email, Ovi Store and navigation.
The company said this is in synergy with its strategy to provide a holistic solutions experience to its consumers across all its touch points.
"The self-learn areas for entertainment and engagement allow customers to have fun while they try out games, download music, start navigation or even write an email. A dedicated wall bay with LCD screens continuously play demos of Nokia services to further enhance the experience," Nokia explained.
According to Shankar Subramanian, director, retail, Nokia India, "At Nokia, we are always looking for ways of reaching out to our consumers and keep them engaged. The new format in India is intended to be the experience and entertainment hubs for customers to help them explore and connect emotionally with the brand and its solutions. The flagship Nokia concept store has been designed in response to the changing global consumer who wants to do much more with his mobile phone than just talk."
"This strategic shift in store design consequently focusses on the services that Nokia offers and the best mobile devices suited to these services. The new Concept Store promises to help the consumer learn and explore various Nokia solutions where they will be given step by step guide lines, handset demos on LCD screens with the assistance of trained staff. The emphasis is really on transforming Nokia's customer touch points into complete experience hubs through a hi-tech store ambiance," added Subramanian.
