LG launches new wide screen entertainment notebooks news

E300New Delhi: LG Electronics India (LGEIL) has announced the launch of its new range of wide screen entertainment notebooks, the E200 and the E300.

These notebooks, says LG, balance mobility and performance perfectly, and enhance the digital entertainment experience of users.  The range comes with a 12.1'' (E200) and 13.3'' (E300) wide screen display, along with power saving modules that offer extended battery life, which allows a  new level of freedom to home users and professionals alike.

E200According to V Ramachandran, director of sales and marketing at LGEIL, "LG Electronics prides itself at being at the forefront of new technologies in terms of notebooks. Our new range of notebooks will for ever change the digital entertainment experience of both the business and home users."

The computers are powered by Intel Core2 Duo processors, and both the E200 and the E300 notebooks have a stylish curl-fit design, with LG Fine Bright LCD Technology that delivers vivid and life like images.

Other  highlighted features of these technologically advanced notebooks include:

  • ATI Radeon™ Xpress 1250
  • LG Smart Cam (Web Camera: 1.3 Mega Pixel)
  • HDMI port
  • 5-in-1 Multimedia Card Reader (XD/SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro)
  •  Express Card Slot (34)
  • Built-in DVD Writer

The notebooks have a glossy look and are currently available in black color. The High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) technology provides uncompressed, crystal-clear digital video and audio via a single cable. The user just needs to connect a high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) cable to digital TV or LCD monitor to experience the digital entertainment contents on notebook PC with improved quality.

The E200 and E300 are available in the market at a retail price of Rs51,500 and Rs57,000 respectively.
