Fujifilm India has roped in Grey Communications as its creative partner, following a multi-agency pitch. Delhi wing of Grey will handle the account.

The imaging company is looking to build a strong brand identity, especially in the category of digital imaging products, said Sriwant Wariz, marketing head, Fujifilm India.

The company had recently launched 12 new digital cameras in the market. (See: Fujifilm unveils a fleet of digital cameras)

Wariz added that the company wanted to break the perception of the users, who still think of Fujifilm as a photographic film manufacturer.

Grey had recently won the creative duties for Fox International Channels (Fox) and Mankind Pharmaceuticals.

Fujifilm India is the wholly owned subsidiary of Fujifilm Japan, which deals in  electronic imaging, photofinishing equipment, medical systems, life sciences, graphic arts, flat panel display materials, and office products, based on a portfolio of digital, optical, fine chemical and thin film coating technologies.
