Emirates to double flights to New Delhi

Dubai: Dubai-based carrier, Emirates, will double its daily services to New Delhi and will also add two flights every week on its Ahmedabad route. Once fully operational, these additions will see Emirates operating a total of 108 flights every week on the India route.

Starting 30 March, Emiartes will add one flight every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday to its existing daily service to New Delhi, it said. The gaps will be covered in the next phase of expansion, starting 2 July, when three more flights – one every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday - will be added to the route.

Also, starting 30 March, Emirates will add two weekly flights on the Ahmedabad route, which is its most recent destination in India. These will take the weekly frequency of flights on the route to eight.
