Amazon’s Great India Sale offers deals on range of products

Amazon's Great India Sale opened yesterday, offering a range of products on substantial discounts. The sale will run till 10 August. The retailer is also offering an extra 10 per cent and 7.5 per cent discount for SBI card users on web and mobile respectively.

In a recent move, Amazon launched its Prime service in India. Members of the Amazon Prime service will get a 30-minute early access to all the deals that are part of the Amazon 'Great India Sale'.

Amazon Prime membership is being offered free as of now for 60-days, after which it will be charged at Rs499 per year, which will be increased later to Rs999 per year. The Amazon Prime membership offers users free unlimited, 1-day and 2-day deliveries on select Amazon products.

The number of deals on Amazon include the Moto G Plus fourth generation (32GB) at a price of Rs14,999, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note priced Rs10,999 as against Rs 11,499, Sony's 32-inch HD Ready LED TV at Rs14,990 (as against the pre-discount price Rs19990), Galaxy On 7 Pro gold variant at Rs 10,190 and the new Xiaomi Mi 5 at Rs 22,999.

Mobile users are being offered a chance to win a OnePlus3 for orders priced above Rs299, in a bid to encourage mobile sales. Amazon is also offering a 50 per cent discount on select products for a limited period.

Some of the other highlights of the sale are:

Fitbit: Fitbit's range of wearables are on offer at 20-per cent disount, with the discount applicable on the Charge HR, Blaze smart fitness watch, Alta fitness tracker, Charge, Surge, Flex, and the Fitbit One. The range which starts from Rs 6,799 goes up to Rs 19,999.

GoPro Hero 4 Adventure Edition: The GoPro Hero 4 is will be offered at a 14 per cent discount. The price the GrPro Hero 4, which was launched in 2014 is down from Rs34,900 to Rs29,999.
