NewsX introduces new evening shows, ‘Southern View’ and ‘The World’

English News Channel, NewsX added two new evening shows, 'Southern View' and 'The World', to its bouquet of offerings.

Southern View will offer daily news, views and updates from southern India, including the four states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and from Goa.

The World, an hour news bulletin, will be dedicated to the latest news on international affairs, science and technology, and Hollywood. It will be telecast on Saturday and will provide latest updates on the week's top international stories.

NewsX, re-branded as IMN News, will be unveiling a new look for the channel accompanied by redesigned website, IPTV service and mobile TV soon.

NewsX is part of INX News Pvt. Ltd, which is wholly owned by Indi Media Company Pvt. Ltd., a venture co-founded by Vinay Chhajlani and Jehangir S Pocha.

Indi Media Company had acquired the channel in January 2009. (See: INX News channel sold)
