The private FM channel Radio Mango's popular station jingle "Go-Go Radio Mango" bagged the world bronze medal in the Station ID category, at the New York Festival held at New York.

Earlier in June, Radio Mango was shortlisted for the NYF award. (See: Radio City and Radio Mango shorlisted for NYF award).

Radio Mango 91.9, a venture of the Malayala Manorama group, won a medal for its on-air programming. The jingle has been composed by popular music director Mr Deepak Dev and the lyrics penned by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboodiri.

"In the context of private FM entering Kerala for the first time, we wanted a jingle that conveyed a sense of moving beyond known horizon - a birth of a brand new day, so to speak,'' Arjun Madhusudan, creative director, said in a press release.
