Planet41 launches UME36 Pro for cellphone data transfers

Planet41, the wireless solutions company, today launched UME360 Pro that allows easy exchange and transfer of data between cellphones.
UME36 Pro, a standalone product developed by Cellebrite of Israel, facilitates quick and secure transfer of mobile content such as phonebook data, messages, pictures, audio and video files from one handset to another.
Somil Gupta, CEO, Planet41, says ''The product will not only make life easier for the consumer, but will also create great opportunity for revenue for the retailers, as it is a concrete way to support upgrading."
Based on Windows CE, UME36 Pro supports transfers across all technologies including GSM, CDMA, UMTS, 3G, TDMA, IDEN and others.
It supports Symbian, Palm, iPhone, Blackberry and other operating systems and allows content backup and management through integrated PC connection.
Gupta believes that UME36 Pro will also eliminate the barriers of switching networks and will be applicable across all models.
Planet41 plans to distribute the product in 2000 locations across the country that retail and sell mobile phones.
