Grey Delhi has won the creative mandate for Honda's compact car Brio, following a multi-agency pitch called in November 2010.

Specifically designed for the Indian market, Brio is slated to be launched around September 2011, and will compete against Maruti's Swift, Ford's Figo, Volkswagen's Polo, Nissan's Micra and Hyundai's i10. The car is priced under Rs5 lakh.

Honda Siel recently said that it is eyeing small cities and towns to drive the sales for Brio, considering that small cities helped car sales zoom to over 30 per cent for auto companies in 2010.

Honda Siel's roster agencies include Meridian Communications and Dentsu Marcom.

Meridian handles the communication for Honda Jazz while Dentsu is responsible for all the other car brands including Accord, Civic and City.
