Madison, BMB form JV to set up Indian arm

Madison World has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with globally renowned ad personality Trevor Beattie's ad firm, Beattie McGuinness Bungay (BMB) to launch the agency in India.

Madison World's creative advertising entity, mc2 will be merged with the new outfit BMB Madison Advertising Pvt. Ltd, which will be promoted as BMB India.

For Madison World, the JV will help beef up its advertising offerings.

Sam Balsara, chairman and managing director, Madison World, said, ''With this initiative, we have filled an important gap in Madison World offerings across all communication functions.''

Prabha Prabhu has been appointed chief executive and a chief creative officer from UK will be appointed for the arm.

BMB was formed in 2005 by three prominent advertising professionals from the UK, Trevor Beattie, Andrew McGuinness and Bil Bungay.
