Autocar performance show on 19 November

The Autocar Performance Show 2009 begins from 19 November at the MMRDA Grounds at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

The main attraction this year will be the world's fastest diesel engine car, the JCB Diesel Max which will make its grand entry for the first time ever in India.

Jaguar-Land Rover, Ford and Toyota will be participating for the first time amongst the long list of reputed car makers including Mercedes, Skoda, Honda, Hyundai, Suzuki Super Bikes, Lamborghini and auto designer Dilip Chhabria.

The presenting partners for the APS 2009 are Apollo Tyres with Associate partners Kotak Mahindra Prime.

Highlights of the show this year:

World's fastest diesel car: The world fastest diesel engine car JCB Disel Max will be seen first time. The record breaking car which has received several accolades worldwide for its advanced aerodynamic design and its groundbreaking speed of over 350 miles per hour (560 km/h), will be only on display for speed fanatics for only two days i.e. the 19 and 20 November.

The supercars – Lamorghini, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes (with AMG) will be taking the centre stage. Other major players like Skoda, Chevrolet, Fiat, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai would pump in some more adrenaline rush to the gala event by putting together some of the best vehicles from their stable.
