praful_patelNew Delhi: The government has decided to set up a panel of ministers to look into the issue of jet fuel pricing and the demands of airline industry, minister of state for civil aviation Praful Patel said. The Group of Ministers (GoM) would visit issues such as high sales tax on aviation fuel.

The minister, however, repudiated claims of airlines about high airport charges.

"High base price of aviation turbine fuel is a concern," Praful Patel said. He also added that equity infusion in Air India needed an urgent look.

Praful Patel also told reporters the industry was likely to grow 8.5 per cent annually until 2015.
