flydubai’s Hyderabad service to launch on 11 June

Mumbai: flydubai, Dubai's first low cost airline, has expanded its India network by launching flights to Hyderabad. The city, state capital and IT hub, is the carrier's second destination in India and 37th worldwide.

The carrier said services to Hyderabad will operate three times a week and will launch on 11 June providing the 1.4 million-strong Indian expat community in the UAE a low-cost connection to their home country in the peak summer holiday season.

On the occasion, flydubai CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said: ''We are delighted to announce Hyderabad as our latest destination. flydubai was established to provide low cost, quality links to cities the expat community in the UAE wish to travel to. Hyderabad is an important new route for flydubai and goes a long way in our efforts to fulfil that commitment given the strong Indian community in the UAE. While our Lucknow route provides a gateway to north and central lndia, our Hyderabad route will be a low-cost connection to south India.''

Flight FZ435 to Hyderabad will depart Dubai Terminal 2 at 2030hrs, arriving in Hyderabad at 0145hrs local time. The return flight FZ436 will depart Hyderabad at 0230hrs, landing back in Dubai at 0440hrs.

A one way fare from Hyderabad to Dubai will start from Rs9350 inclusive of seven kilos hand baggage allowance. Checked baggage will start at Rs650 for 20kgs and a seat with extra legroom would cost Rs1250. The fare from Dubai to Hyderabad will start from AED585, and include one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 7kg and one small laptop bag or hand bag.
