19 Sep 2008
Hong Kong: Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd has received the top ranking in The Wall Street Journal Asia's reader survey of Hong Kong's most-admired companies for the third time since 2004. The carrier's achievement is made in the face of rising costs, tightening competition and a change in management.
Cathay took the top spot in the survey's featured category, "Innovative in Responding to Customer Needs." It moved up from third place in that category in 2006.
The Hong Kong-based carrier also won the top spot for management's long-term vision.
The carrier is famed for its international service.
