Kampala: Belgian airline Brussels Airlines is offering fliers on its African network connecting flights to India and China, in partnership with Jet Airways and Hainan Airlines.

Brussels Airlines has services to 16 African destinations, and with connection times and code-share agreements, the airline's passengers can fly to the three major Indian cities of Mumbai, New Delhi and Chennai, as well as to the Chinese capital Beijing.

According to Julien Tilkens, Brussels Airlines external communications officer, the partnership with Jet Airways allows her airline to ''play an important role in the deepening relationship between the African continent and India'', with a daily flight between Brussels and each of the three Indian destinations.

Five weekly flights are offered to the Chinese capital Beijing, which is also the host city for the 2008 Olympic Games. China is also a major investor nation in Africa.
