Hawker Beechcraft secures $200 million order for 23 aircraft from Brazilian dealer

Hawker Beechcraft Corp has said it has secured one of the largest general aviation aircraft orders in Brazilian history with a $200 million order for 23 aircraft. The sale, made to Lider Signatures SA, was announced by the Wichita, Kansas-based manufacturer on Tuesday at the National Business Aviation Association convention in Orlando, Florida.

The order consists of three Hawker 4000, two Hawker 900XP, three Hawker 750, five new Hawker 450XP, one Beechcraft King Air B200GT, four Beechcraft King Air C90GTi, two Beechcraft Baron G58 and three Beechcraft Bonanza G36 aircraft.

Deliveries for the 23 aircraft will take place from 2009 to 2011.

The contract was signed by Lider CEO, Eduardo de Pereira Vaz. Líder is a South American Hawker Beechcraft dealer and authorized service center since 1996.
