HCL Tech to participate in UK's prestigious Farnborough International Airshow

HCL Technologies (HCL), a leading global IT services company, has said it will be showcasing its expertise in the aerospace sector at the upcoming Farnborough International Airshow, Hampshire,UK. The company said that it will showcase its capabilities in aerospace engineering solutions - in the area of avionics, engineering design, enterprise IT and as a partner for Indian defence offset programmes.
HCL is a partner to major players in the aerospace sector and lists 35 major aerospace players among its customers, and has successfully executed more than 450 aerospace engineering projects.
HCL is also the first Indian IT company to be AS9100 certified and the first Indian IT company to set up in-house environmental testing. It said its avionics development practice is the largest in India.
HCL specifically addresses the aerospace industry's key pressure points – increasing complexity, decreasing profitability and shrinking workforce – which through its transformational relationships and engineering expertise, has been able to deliver outstanding results.
HCL's main areas of expertise are avionics and engineering design in R&D and IT consolidation in enterprise IT.
