Paris: Dassault Aviation has announced the placement of a fresh order for 20 Falcon 2000LX jets, worth approximately $720 million, from NetJets Europe.

NetJets Europe, a Berkshire Hathaway Inc subsidiary, specialises in the operation of business aviation jets. The order is over and above a previous order for 10 other Falcon 2000LXs, the company said.

The total order value for these 30 aircraft is in excess of $1 billion, the French aircraft maker said.

'This new order means they will be adding over 60 new Falcons to their fleet over the next eight years. This is an important endorsement for our company as well as our aircraft,' John Rosanvallon, president and CEO of the Dassault Falcon division, said in a statement.
