Hawker Beechcraft selects Avion Pacific as its dealer in China

The Wichita, Kansas-based Hawker Beechcraft Corporation has selected Avion Pacific Limited to be its aircraft dealer in China, Hong Kong and Macau. Avion is an aviation management, consulting, marketing and operational support company.

Avion has offices in Shekou, Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin. It has already ordered two Hawker 4000s, two Hawker 900XPs and two Hawker 750s for customers, which will be delivered in 2009.

Deer Jet, a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines, has ordered a pair of mid-size business jets — a 900XP and an 850XP — from Hawker. Deer Jet is the largest business aircraft operator in China. It flies four Hawker 800XPs and manages a Beechcraft Premier 1 for a chemical fibre company.

Hawker also announced that Jet Asia has ordered four Hawker 900XP jets and four Hawker 750s. The company has opened a new sales office in Singapore to cover the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, India and Africa.
