Mumbai: The GVK Group led Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd (MIAL) has made its first set of job offers to employees of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) here on Tuesday. The offer has been made as per terms of the operations, maintenance and development agreement signed with AAI, which ensures that MIAL has to offer employment to a minimum of 60 per cent of the AAI airport staff within three years of taking over operations.

According to a MIAL release, offers were made to 358 employees, including 65 executives and 293 non-executives.

The job offers by the private consortium will now ensure the staffing of key positions at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA). The offer to the staff has been made taking into account past performance, and also their qualifications.
