Air India Express to fly direct to Trichy

Dubai: Air India Express is set to connect temple town Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), in the south of India, with Dubai through direct flights thrice a week. Air India Express will now fly non-stop to Trichy on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The flight will terminate at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The Dubai-Trichy/Chennai flight will depart from Dubai International Airport (Terminal-2) at 5.20 pm and land in Trichy at 10.55 pm IST. The same flight will depart from Trichy at 11.55 pm and arrive in Chennai at 1.05 am.
The flight to Dubai will leave Chennai at 11.40 am, arrive in Trichy at 12.50 pm and land at Dubai International Airport at 4.20 pm.
Trichy will now become Air India Express' tenth destination from Dubai. Currently, Air India Express operates 45 flights a week from Dubai and Sharjah to ten Indian destinations.
