Kamal Hingorani moves to SpiceJet as VP, marketing and planning

New Delhi: Private low cost carrier, SpiceJet, has appointed Kamal Hingorani as vice-president, marketing and planning. Hingorani moves to the airline from his present assignment at ITC Travel House, where he was serving as its executive vice-president, marketing and planning.

According to a company statement, Hingorani has been in the aviation and travel industry for more than 25 years and has served international airlines such as Sri Lankan Airlines, Kuwait Airways and Gulf Air.

Apart from ITC Travel House, he has also worked with Kuoni Travel, at which places he has served in various capacities, including operations and sales, marketing, strategy and network management.

Hingorani is an alumnus of IIM-Bangalore, as well as a post-graduate in business management.
