Tata Power Company has announced the appointment of
Anil Kumar Sardana has been appointed executive director, Tata Power, with effect from March 1.
Prior to this assignment, Sardana was the managing director of North Delhi Power Ltd (NDPL), a power distribution associate company of Tata Power in New Delhi.
Sardana is credited with transforming NDPL to deliver an improved performance in substantive ways.
He is the recipient of the Asian & South Pacific Utilities Associated CEO of the Year Award 2005 and Asian Power CEO of the year 2006, awarded by the Asian Power Journal, Singapore.
