Merrill Lynch''s Bruno Daher joins Credit Suisse

Mumbai: Credit Suisse today announced that it has appointed Bruno Daher as head, private banking for the Middle East / Indian sub-continent. He will join Credit Suisse on August 1, 2006, and will be based in Dubai.

In addition he will also be Co-CEO of the bank's Middle East region.

Prior to his appointment, Daher was managing director and head of global private clients for the Middle East and India. During his 21 years with, he had held a number of senior positions in the Global Private Client area, with a specific focus on the Middle East for the last 12 years.

A French national, Daher holds a BA in economics from the Boston College School of Arts and Sciences and an MBA from the Boston College Graduate School of Management. 

Daher will take over from Greuter who has opted to retire in 2007 after 25 years with Credit Suisse.
