Alok Kumar Bhadra appointed managing director of NLC Nalco India

NLC Nalco, the world's leading water treatment and process improvement company, has appointed Alok Kumar Bhadra as the managing director of its Indian subsidiary, NLC Nalco India.

Prior to his appointment as managing director, Bhadra was leading NLC Nalco's marketing for water business in India and chemical SBU for Asia Pacific.

Speaking on the appointment, Erik Fyrwald, Nalco chairman and CEO, said, ''As a member of the senior team, Bhadra will play a key role in helping NLC Nalco India as we move to strengthen client support and continue our strong sales growth and increased market share.''

Bhadra has a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Jadavpur University and a post graduate degree in general management from IIM-Kolkata.

Nalco provides sustainability solutions for industrial water, energy and air applications.
