Abhijit Abhyankar to head north India sales for Cathay

Abhijit Abhyankar has been appointed Cathay Pacific Airways' area sales manager, Northern India. Abhyankar will oversee passenger sales and revenue for Cathay Pacific and is responsible for the development and execution of sales strategy for the region.

Born and educated in Mumbai, Abhyankar began his career in the hospitality industry in 1999 and has worked with Ambassador Hotel, Le Meridien & Holiday Inn.

In 2004 he joined KLM and moved to domestic carrier Jet Airways in 2008.
