The Walt Disney Company India re-structures top management team

The Walt Disney Company India has restructured its top management, its managing director Mahesh Samant, said.

Roshni Bakshi, regional director, emerging markets (Asia), Disney consumer products has been promoted to vice-president, consumer products, publishing and retail where she will be responsible for building and executing strategies for the sector.

Swati Shetty who was handling the advertising, sales and content syndication will now look after theatrical productions and acquisitions, Walt Disney Studios International Production (India) as its executive director.

Shetty's role is to manage talent relationships in a bid to get more local content and look after the creative and production aspects of this fast growing sector.

Vijay Subramaniam has been made the executive director, Disney India Media Solutions and alliances wherein he will be responsible for identifying commercial possibilities for the company in the TV, studio, publishing, mobile and Internet spheres across India.
