O&M appoints new national creative directors

Abhijit Avasthi and Rajiv Rao appointed as national creative directors at Ogilvy & Mather, India.
Abhijit Avasthi and Rajiv Rao will jointly take the position of national creative directors at Ogilvy & Mather, India.
Among their creative responsibilities will be grooming O&M talent.
Avasthi and Rao will work closely with all other creative directors to ensure that the famous Ogilvy battery of creative directors becomes stronger and better.
In 2007 Ogilvy & Mather India was ranked the country's Premier Ad Agency for the fifth year in a row in the The Economic Times' Brand Equity Ad Agency Reckoner, where Avasthi and Rao, then executive creative directors, were ranked No 6 and 8 respectively in the the Top 20 creative directors rankings.
